My name is Melissa Jean Noble and I was born May 6, 1994 to the parents of Sheila Nunn and John Hren. Being born as a twin, my mother carried me and my sister the full 9 months, each weighing about 8 pounds, and conceived at Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa.
Family Members:
I have a huge family and we are ,otherwise known as, the "blue collar" family. Were the average American "honkey tonk" redneck family that do not quite neccesarily need money to have a good time. We have recieved the most out of like by just enjoying nature and what God has given to us. My parents have always provided for my family to make sure that our family of 7 lived a good life, considering the fact my 1 brother and 3 sisters are all close in age. My parents, Sheila Nunn and John Hren, take care of my twin, Melonie Noble (17 years old) , My little sister Janelle Hren (17 years old) , My brother Matt Noble (18 years old) , and I (17 years old). My brother was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 2 and so my mother has had to be a stay at home mom ever since. I love having her as a stay-at-home mom because I get the benefit of spending quality time with my mom; nowadays, many girls in the 21st century do not get to have that neccesary privelage.
Childhood/ School life:
Throughout my childhood, I have always lived in the same mobile home park in El Cajon, California; however, I have moved around schools quite a bit. I first started grade school at Magnolia Elementary until my twin, in the third grade, earned a spot in a program called G.A.T.E in which we then transferred to Flying Hills Elementary. I did not like the move because all my neighborhood friends had attended Magnolia but I agreed to do what my sister wanted and attended Flying Hills. It was hard to fit in at Flying Hills because everyone had already known each other since kindergarden and I was the new comber. I eventually became the outcast and so when 6th grade graduation came, I was thrilled. I was going to go to Greenfield Middle school with all my old friends from Magnolia. I then became more social and loved going to school everyday. But then, 8th grade promotion came up and I had to go to the high school that none of my friends were going to yet again. I had wanted to attend El Cajon Valley High but I was forced to go to West Hills. My twin and I were the only 2 out of the entire graduating class to go off to West Hills. I had no choice though, so I went to West Hills High School where I now currently attend.
Looking back on all this now, I have grown to love West Hills and have met many of my bestfriends here. I am in my senior year now and have gotten the best 4 years of school out of it. I was a cheerleader all 4 years on the WHHS Varsity cheer squad, I was a member of the swim and gymnastics team, and was a main member of the A.V.I.D. club. Now, I am headed to San Diego State University on a fully paid scholarship.
I could not have asked for a better childhood and am ready to venture off to college and start the next chapter of my life.
Career Aspirations:
My goal as a child was to become an Actor. That was what I dreamed about being and nobody was going to tell me different. I was going to prove everyone who doubted me wrong. However, one day during my A.V.I.D. class, I discovered that I wanted to becomesomething much more than an actor. I wanted to persue a career in a well respected field. I want to become a district attorney for the 52nd district of California. I am going to do whatever it takes to do so no matter what the consequences are.
I have recently been accepted to San Diego State University and accepted the offer to attend the college on a full ride. I want to do my best to earn my Bachelor of Arts at SDSU and then transfer to the University of San Diego to earn my Masters degree. After that, I will take the bar exam and then run for the district attorney possition. Hopefully all my hardwork and effort pay off and I become elected to be the person I have longed to be for so long.
Anecdote:
One day, in 2006, my neighbors and I decided to play a game of hide and go seek. Keep in mind that I am an extremly competitive person and so I was out to win.
When my little sister, Janelle, was set to be the seeker, I had the perfect spot in mind. I was to hide on top of my shed. My shed, however, is not the easiest spot to hide on top of. To do so, one must climb ontop a 4 foot cement wall and then hoist oneself up ontop a triangle roofed shed and crouch down so as to not be seen. I thought to myself, "challenge accepted", and jumped up on top the shed and crouched down. Unfortunantly, I had worn my hair in a pony tail that day and so my sister ran to the shed to catch me. So I raised up and ran to jump off the shed. My intentional goal was to jump back on to the cement wall and then to the ground but, it did not work exactly to plan. The cement wall is next to the shed but there is a 1 foot gap between the two. On edge of the tectangular cement wall closest to the shed, the side is rounded. So, when I had attempted to jump, I had landed on the cement wall like I intended but had landed on the rounded part and slipt between the gap. Blood was everywhere. I was in shock from what I had done that I ran into my house, shin oozing with blood. I had not noticed it before because all I heard were the neighbors screaming.
Instead of going to the doctors like I should have, I took an extremly hot bath to disinfect it and went to bed with it all bandaged up. Now, I have an indent in my leg where the wall met my shin and one can feel the spot and identify where I had hit the cement.
Life Goals:
My goals in life are not to become rich and famous but to just grow old and be able to look back on life and know that I lived it to the fullest without any regrets. I wish to graduate with my Masters degree at USD University by the age of 25 and by 27, find someone to settle down with and get married to. I want to own the "all American" dream home by a lake and raise 2 kids in the country side, a boy and a girl. I do not really know what to expect for my life goals after that eccept to ask God to guide me through life on the right path and help me succeed in everything I put my mind too.
